Recent Project Descriptions:
Project Management of rollout of IHS IMPACT Incident Management software for global chemical company. Rollout of safety incident and management of change software included demonstration of software to company facilities considering implementation, working with site representatives to prepare materials for customized portions of software. Coordinate translation materials for international sites, conduct training, manage the software "User Team", develop projects for continuous improvement of the software use.
Rewrite of Hazardous Waste Management Plan. The objective was to reformat and simplify an existing document. Content was reorganized into an executive summary supported by 7 separate standard operating procedures. Management and technical level personnel input was utilized to optimize document usability and value.
Training tracking system management - multiple projects ranging from enhancement of excel spread sheet tracking to include course descriptions and corresponding job analysis to complete feasibility and implementation of software package. Implementation of software package involved 3 different business units with distinct needs, selection criteria and personnel available to implement the rollout and use.
EHS regulatory permit and intellectual property analysis due to divestiture of a business unit. The divestiture involved portions of the property and business operations which had previously been subject to one set of permits. Shared wastewater operations continued for a period of time following divestiture. Worked with government agencies, purchasing company, facilities personnel and attorneys to identify and execute required permit cancellations, revisions and applications.
Green Building planning as part of a $400 MM construction project. Worked with consulting engineers and architects as well as in house engineering department to determine feasibility of LEED certification. Additionally as a member of the project planning team, provided environmental, health and safety recommendations and subsequent review of site and building plans. Significant issues during the project were storm water pollution prevention plans, air humidification, and ergonomic lab design.
ISRA Project for Research and Development and former manufacturing site. The project included working with legal counsel on a General Information Notice (GIN), environmental consultants on preparation of the Preliminary Assessment (PA) and communication with the NJDEP on the Remedial Investigation (RI).
Contractor Safety Program monitoring. Led a cross functional team of procurement, facilities operations, project management, and EHS personnel in completing the implementation of a contractor safety program for a pharmaceutical R&D facility during a $400 MM construction project. The team was responsible for routine contractors as well as the contractors involved in the major construction project.
Supervised the establishment of an Enviance environmental data tracking system covering 300 records & tasks to enable compliance tracking through data collection and enhance communication to colleagues.
